Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2023 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 18–21 at Oak Hill Country Club. The reigning champion is Justin Thomas.

Such a nice guy. Deserves the break and looking forward to seeing more golf from him next week.
Class act. Wish him much continued success.
So…kids will have a new golf dream …..the club pro route
This is the ONLY whole golf press conference ive ever watched. Such a cool story, and he did what he hoped to do because today im going to go practice.
Always keep it real Block! I had tears along with you. Congrats and good luck at Colonial! We'll be pulling for you.
Colonial Next week.. Colonial Next Week… I think we plays Colonial next week??? Yea Colonial Next week! lol
There’s a role model for life. Well done.
What a dude
The “im going, no im filling it up” got me😂😂
AWESOME!!!!! GOOD LUCK IN FORT WORTH, TX
Every 10 years or so, the golf gods bless us with a cool story like this.. fantastic story! Hope his play continues to be good into colonial.
I love this guy. He’s just like a normal guy (albeit one who’s insanely good at golf) among these professional professionals!
What a class act.
I'm not a golfer (maybe a dozen rounds in my life). But i am sports fan, a lover of human stories, and a believer in being yourself. Michael's response to his performance during this tournament, is super inspiring! Inspiring not just from a sports perspective, but also from a human perspective. With the bullshit distractions dominating the headlines over the last year or two, this was very much needed. Thank you for the highlight of the year (sports and humanity)!
What a mensch. Love how he talks about not looking at the leaderboard, just grinding to play they best he can. That's golf. Even when there are 75 other guys playing the tournament your only real competitor is the course and your self. He embodies the spirit of the game. Congratulations, Michael!
I didn't think I could love golf anymore than I did, then you became a brighter light. Good Luck at Colonial. Bunch of us up here in MD rooting for you.
You deserve it your never to old well done made me cry hole in one I’ve had 2 🐶😻✂️🇪🇸😎
Call me crazy but the up and down in the 18 was as amazing as the hole in one. I was watching it on live TV and the moment when I saw where the ball ended up with his second shot on the 18 I was like "That's it. There's no way he can make par from there". And then that third shot. I mean…that third shot was just pure perfection and I really think most of people can't see yet how difficult that third shot was for a man who is not a Pro. Because that was actually a shot from a Pro golfer. Forget the hole in one. Most of times a hole in one in just pure luck. That third shot on the 18th was pure class.
What a DIS to your kids!!! Lol
Friggan love this dude.
Michael Block wasn't a greenskeeper, Eric Estes. Where did you get that information from?
Brooks won the tournament but who noticed? Is it better to win trophies, or to win hearts?
I've seen this one before, right?! (Tin Cup). 😉😃👍
US Open get this living legend to grace your tournament, bringing back the dreams of every person that plays weekend golf in America 🇺🇸. We need him paired with Tiger and Phill!!!
It was gonna be a great night — until he gave his dog more time than his wife… 😣
I want to meet his dog.
People forget, this guy is an excellent player and has been for years. It’s awesome he had a chance to show his talent.
ONE OF US! What a great guy
Man, talk about livin' the dream!
Everyone wanted a journalist to ask Michael Block how he feels about LIV Golf. We understand he has nothing against LIV Golf as he's keen to advocate golf to all generations worldwide, especially children.
He held it together so well. After all that.
from a dad of 5 childrens i would praise my childrens first.. anyway good job
I can't speak for everyone else but when that last putt dropped I cried too, Michael. It was a pleasure watching you this week. Listening to how you approached each round was so much different than the Tour guys and I've learned a lot from you.
great confidence to go along with it. Could easy be on a camera talking golf
I’m ngl, I think that the ESPN+ featured group coverage called his ace WAY BETTER than CBS did.
Just keep doing what you are doing Michael Block, living the dream, play well and good luck at Colonial .
What a beauty
¿Apostamos cuántos minutos va a tardar el LIV en llevar a profesionales locales del club a sus competiciónes para hacerlas más atractivas? 3….2….1…
Q. Michael, any comment on calls from Big Randy at No Laying Up to have you publicly flogged and then banned from ever again playing the game of golf at any level?
Someone should have asked “Have LIV tour approached you yet?” 😂 love this guy. I’m gonna watch this weekend because he’s in it
I think he can kick butt at Colonial, it's one of the shortest courses the tour plays every year so he doesn't need to worry about being out-bombed by the rest of the field.
Watched the PGA 4th round, saw Mike's ace, went nuts along with the crowd, watched him make the save on the last hole to get his exemption. Then watched this interview. Man, I might have to get back into golf, after 30 "linkless" years!
I haven’t seen anything like this since Tim Tebows playoff run in Denver GOD BLESS.
A decent bloke and let's hope his life changes for the better. There are too many robots on the golf tours. The sports needs characters, especially those who seem to love the game.
It's so cool how poised this guy is. At 46, he's been through many of the joys, sorrows and challenges of life. He's got a rock solid family and group of friends at this age. He may not be an experienced touring pro but he's a very experienced human being. It shows. He appreciates the moment but he's not in awe of anyone,or anything, nor should he. He's at a sweet spot– the older athlete who's wise to life but talented enough to hang with the best in his particular sport. All the best this week Mike!
More views than all other interviews combined at the pga championship. He is one of us. A man of the people.
