I was looking at Cap Friendly and thinking about this. We don’t have much space so do we manage to get Jeannot on a cheap “prove last year was a just a down year” deal?

I’d hate to over pay him and lose a Colton or Killorn type player who we know works in our system.

Bagel ended up working out the season after his trade coming off a less than stellar post-trade performance.

Which reminds me, we need to keep enough cash around for when Bagel needs his next deal.

Comes down to $$$. Priority 1 is to lock in Hagel, Priority 2 (IMO) is JBB will sign Jeannot based on what he traded to get him.

Priority 3 (IMO) is to get a D-Man who can help restore the Bolts manic shot blocking desire, which was painfully missing in front of Vasy this past season

After that – not sure if there is $$$ for Colton or Killer.

Tanner Jeannot post so I have to mention this again as I hope to speak/type it into existence. I want to see if Jeannot can play with Point and Kuch in hopes that he can be like our Tom Wilson. 20-25 goal scorer and a mean son of bitch that will protect them.

Grows into a larger role like the rest of the late season collections we have scooped. He should be healthy and charged to GOOOOO.

If he gets back to where he was the season before this last one and we can lock him down long-term it’ll be a good deal. He’s a young enough guy with a goal scoring touch who has an incredible physical game

    My thoughts are:

    1. we can’t afford to re-sign Colton.
    2. we have to sign Jeannot (for 2 years).
    3. we have to extend Hagel this summer.
    4. we need more young guys in our fourth line.
