Mathews isnt worth any more than hes already making. If he rocked it in the playoffs, then yes, hes worth it plus a little more. BUT hes not rockin it when he needs to be. Trade him and get a few good pieces.

I believe Marner's 2-way Selke game is coveted more than even Matthews goals (by committee) for any team, because he's huge in the reg season.. but any Selke-like guy can shadow him in the playoffs. It's harder to shadow an evasive Marner, therefore I believe Marner is actually worth more cap space than even Matthews.
