This Is Driving The NHL Mad.

The Florida Panthers beat the Carolina Hurricanes in game 3 but the story was all about Sergei Bobrovsky. His performance in these playoffs.. are getting out of control. With his first ever NHL playoff shutout, he put on a clinic in this game & clearly frustrated the hell out of the Carolina Hurricanes. We break down some of his best saves & how having a goalie this red hot changes the mentality of both teams for the rest of the series.

  1. having watched hockey as early as the late 60's, my opinion is there is a real shortage of 'good' goalies, so this better than average goalie appears more amazing, but in the big picture he is basically doing a good job for his pay…..nothing OUTSTANDING

  2. I think that's why Skinner looked like hot garbage, the Oilers defensive core especially with Nurse is just awful and he's hung out to dry.

  3. Uhh… Every year seems to be "one of the greatest goaltending performances ever". Binnington. Vasilevskiy. Grubauer.

  4. Sometimes the post is a goaltenders best friend lol but yeah he's beasting it up! This series is a rap!

  5. Good goaltending in the playoffs is a must. Outstanding goaltending in the playoffs makes a winner. So far in the semis – low scores and very close games (3 OTs). great for hockey fans. However i feel the NHL executives prefer high scoring games. Goaltending battles with lots of saves does make for great games.

  6. NO, THIS isn’t driving anyone “Mad” but your title DID, cause me to click on your video, and then find out that you’re just another entertainment tonight wannabe, trying to make interesting information that we already saw because we watched it ourselves 🙄

  7. It's naive to think players will automatically just go for the biggest contact they can get regardless who offers.

It's the case a lot of the times, but there's tons of time as well where the player takes a million or two or 3 less than the max offer just to stay with a team they see as home and want to stay with.

Stamkos was one of them – pre Tampa cup runs.

Everyone talking about Matthews being gauranteed gone the moment he gets a max offer from somewhere else is just pure speculation yet people like yourself are automatically assuming or implying he's not gonna return or that somehow Marner or Tavares are better players to keep lol. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  8. What’s amazing is Bob didn’t even start the playoffs. Lyon did and then Bob came in and stole the show and his beer lol

  9. Goalies win the playoffs. I feel like most years, whoever has the hot goalie can go all the way.

  10. I wanted Edmonton to go all the way knowing full well their weaknesses but I called Florida to win the Cup when I watched them play Boston. They’ve got the best defence I’ve ever seen in my 50 years as a hockey fan.

  11. As a Tampa fan, if you would’ve told me 3 months ago I would be rooting for the panthers to win the cup I would have said you were crazy. But as a hockey fan in general this is some damn great hockey. Lets go cats, they are playing like champions.

  12. Ни чего не понял, почему люди пишут в комментариях непонятные буквы😀

  13. He must have had a chat with Martin Brodeur!? If ever there was a goalie who knew how to steal a Stanley Cup, it's him!! And THAT is what Bob is doing!!

  14. They remind me of the blues in 19. Both goalies stood on their heads. Both teams would grind the other team down. I think they are going to win it all.

  15. This is some Vassey and Price type shit. And I say that as a Bolts fan. Bobrovsky is a damned monster, and I’m pulling hard for the Panthers to bring it all home.

  16. It's insane. I love that blocker save on Aho, how he threw his stick because his instinct knew that it will weigh him down just that teeny-tiny bit in a game of inches. The man is unreal and honestly? I want Florida to go all the way. He deserves it. They deserve it. The ultimate undercats who no one ever thought dangerous. At least Toronto fans can now rest easy that they weren't the ones choking. It's the Panthers being out of this world right now.

  17. If they dont win the cup, which honestly seems like a far cry, is Bob ending up as one of the very small amount of players winning the Conn Smythe without a cup? He'd have my vote right now.

  18. this is why i loved being a goalie. you can just decide "nope, not losing" and if they cant get one past you, you literally cant lose

  19. 2:09 why arent we talking about how dangerous this play is? Obvious crosscheck from behind to push the player into harmsway unable to defend themselves against the 90 mph puck coming at them. It happens all the time its a miracle more people havent been hurt. Make no mistake they do this on purpose.

  20. Watching Bob on fire in the net (to say nothing of the team playing in front of him), I'm not even mad that the Panthers edged out my Sabres to get into the playoffs. Their run so far has been absolutely a joy to watch.

  21. Happy for Bob, especially since he been much criticized carrying that huge contract. He should be criticized when playing not good and making that much. But still it is nice to see him being able to turn it around.

  22. its the 2012 Kings run…a hot goaltender and a team playing all out will take an 8th seat to the cup

  23. Not a Panthers fan but i might be one now. Bob is putting up one of the all time great goalie performances in the playoffs. An absolute treat to watch, unless you're playing him of course.

  24. I dont know ish about hockey………but at this point heat/panthers its all the same to me go florida!!!!!!!!!!

  25. Dude I remember watching him in the AHL n being a fan, it’s been a long time coming but I’ve always known bob had it in him

  26. Bobs performance is shaping up to be the one of the best goaltender performances in a playoff series in the last decade. He's playing better than Antti Niemi back in 2010 (you just had to witness that one).
