A team in its 6th season, only 6 players from the original, and already with a new GM and its 3rd coach…. doesn’t sound like they were handed anything, just sounds like pure fucking savvy to me.

I live deep in Oilers country (unfortunately) and the amount of salty oil fans that are complaining about “expansion teams shouldn’t already be this good, this is so unfair” is great. I can’t help but smile when they start to whine.
