Demko a huge steal from the draft
I am surprised how good Ned been for us . A tandem of Ned and Cossa will be insane. Definitely should be one of the best tandems in the NHL
Demko & Halak are saving Travis Green's job by bailing out his ineffective systems. Mediocrity is what this team is aiming for, and it's quite apparent with Aquilini's inactions.
Czar Igor! But its crazy to think that class is best class of goalies in a very long time. The era of Hank Fluery etc is over & these young kids r gunna dominate for a long time
Demko Shesterkin Saros are so underrated they're so good on good or okay teams.
What a goalie class
Ned’s numbers are a little skewed right now because of that first Tampa game. Ever since he’s been damn good. Especially with the game against Edmonton. Held McJesus to one goal. 38 saves.
In Ned we trust!
All three are reasons why most teams consider passing on goalies in the 1st round.
Quality can be found in the second to later rounds……. but it takes patience on development.
2014 was the draft year for Alex and Igor, shows how much development time was needed.
Carter hart been good too but everyone still call him carter fart
Glad u see Igor as the goat he is, guy has been carrying through games. Sorokin has a ton of shuts but against teams like Arizona so I don’t hold them in high regards.
Bravo Dan Lego Thy Puckegos ! Quite a Crop At Puckstop !
Rangers win on the back of their goalie, as is tradition.
LOL how are you going to call Detroit one of the worst teams in the League this season?? Have you guys not been paying attention to the Red Wings?? It's like you guys want to keep them in the frame of a 'bad team' instead of accepting the future and what's about to happen that Steve Yzerman has going on in Detroit.. listen I don't know how good the right ones we are the season but I definitely can say they're not a "bad" team! You all will soon come to realize it too! # LGRW!
Give Nedelkovic some credit, aside from his first game against Tampa where he let up 7 on 48 shots (still at a .914 with this game included), he has been phenomenal with a .927 Save percentage. I consider that game a statistical outlier.
Nedeljkovic has a 2.60 GAA and a .926 sv% in his last 5 games played. He has been very very good and been one of Detroit’s best players
Best goalie class ever I’d say.
Not sure if RedWings will even end up needing Cossa. Ned looks for real. And the biggest knock on Ned is his height and a supposed “lack” of athleticism. Yet he’s one of the faster goalies in the nhl, so I’m not sure where that narrative comes from. Plus, how many of the NHLs best goalies needed to be 6’6” and “athletic”? Sure, that height is great in theory, but in reality, it’s historically not a huge factor. Saros a good example. I don’t think Shesterkin is that tall. Lundkquist or Richter? Not so much. I think Ned is a legit starting NHL goalie.
Ned is awesome
Every goalie will tell you they could be a little bit better Carolina fans are just trying to give the GMX and excuse for trade him for a bag of peanuts ned is an amazing goalie and by far the best in that year's draft class I watch them players Junior Hockey in Flint people always underestimate him
Everyone who followed Shesty before the NHL would know this was gonna happen when he got here. He’s been dominant everywhere he’s went. Dudes an absolute machine. Not to mention the NYR arguably have the best goalie coach itl. Without him the NYR would not be where they are rn, he’s absolutely carrying.
McDonald's stats in the ahl were doodoo
The problem with picking goalies is that, you pick them at 18 years old in the draft, but realistically, you don't expect them to reach your NHL regular roster until they are 25 years old. So, when picking them at 18, you have to run a simulation in your head of what they will be like 7 years in the future.
Sorokin is def better than shesterkin
