There should be severe consequences for biting a player's hands or fingers because you could easily cause permanent damage to nerves or finger joints and handicap a player's ability to grip the stick affecting their performance and costing their career or earnings.

There are two sides for any story, and the video evidence is not entirely clear. When you punch a guy in the face and his mouth is open, you're gonna contact teeth, so there is an opening for plausible deniability here. I wonder if the linesman saw it more clearly. This kind of fighting while rolling around on the ice is low class on both sides, they clearly hate each other.

They knew right when it happened and they said it, he is getting suspended. Lemieux has an in person hearing tomorrow. So clearly, yes he is. The guy is a great edgy hockey player and I love his style of play. He is a great fighter when he needs to be, but this is some Marchand type shit.

There’s a small list of players I don’t mind being on the wrong end of something out of line. Brady Tkachuk is absolutely one of them. It’s pretty funny actually and he more than deserves it. However with covid these days it should be something more substantial. Along the lines of trying to give him rabies. Lol

Guys fighting while wearing 30 lbs. of pads and one guy decides to bite the other. Such a manly ordeal.
Not that anyone cares for the truth anymore, but maybe ask Brendan WHY he bit him. Does his side of the story matter? He was getting his eyes gouged and his hands were tied up so it was his only defense to save his eyes. It’s never about how a fight is started, but rather about whoever ended it by responding. Lord, it’s hockey. You might get bit. You might get an ear sliced off with a skate. You most likely will get your teeth knocked out and suffer a billion concussions. Maybe try chess if you can’t handle it? Good Lord. If I didn’t want to see someone get hit (or bit), I’d go to a tennis tournament. They get paid for both and I pay to watch it. It’s hockey.
