Frustrated*, and seems like I should have cropped the ss 😅

Jeez,
I’ll still go against the tide and say Carlsson would be my choice. We are no way ready to compete within the next 2-3 years when our defenseman are ready to take the jump
He crushed the Norwegian forward. I was not expecting a 5+20 despite the IIHF being very strict. It’s a minor at best in NHL. He’s much taller than the other guy, so it’s a natural place to have contact. Unfortunate if anything.

That hit wouldn’t warrant a ejection in the nhl. Not much he could have done there but it’s a penalty nonetheless.

As a Michigan fan, I saw him do stupid things like this all season. He’s a great player but he loses his cool fairly often.

He’s having a really bad tournament. Does not look all that prepared to play mature hockey compared to his teammates (that are mostly 4th line or AHL material)..
If Pat was decided to pick him at 2nd, this tournament must have made him doubt this choice.

can someone explain what was wrong with that hit? looked on time was from the front and the offensive player knew it was coming shoulder tucked no charge
granted i’m basing that off a slow motion clip, and i acknowledge the height differential/head contact. i would much rather lean towards avoiding concussions in the game, so what do you do here?
