Maple Leafs’ President Brendan Shanahan said he’d keep an open mind when looking for who to hire to be the next GM of the club, but stressed that experience would be an attractive asset. TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger joins Gino Reda to discuss some candidates.

My god – it is one thing to like the guy and pull for him but at least have the decency to make sense . Dreger said "he had talked to his family and they were willing to take on the added responsibility " first of all he has little kids – what added responsibility ? it was the same job he had for the past 5 years – you guys are pathetic
I think Shanny overplayed his hand and has now set up Kyle for a revenge tour where he leads another team to a Cup before the Leafs make it out of the second round

Kyle dubas inherited a team built by Lou laimerallo. The team he inherited has a forward core as the following:
Marleau-Matthews-nylander
Hyman-Tavares-marner
Johnsson-kadri-kapanen
All he has done as gm is make garbage trades and terrible moves. He let go of Freddy Andersen, let go kadri, Hyman, protected holl over mccann, traded away Seth Jarvis and traded for foligno. List goes on forever. They can do much better than Kyle dubas

finally go rid of dogy hozzerr……he was driving us into the ground. hate to say it but our leafs are worst shape then the habs. the leafs are over all better than the coyotes, pretty much even with the blue jackets but a step bh the ducks though. habs will have the beat down in a couple of years! ouchhh this hurts. hope austin isnt still head home to az, man thhis sucks
