[NY Post] Slap Shots has also learned that Coyotes players filed multiple complaints with the PA during the season about sub-standard travel, lodging and logistical issues that were in violation of the collective bargaining agreement.

I’m not even bothering reading headlines of the NY Post. That’s such a shitty “newspaper”. When someone worth reading reports this, then I’ll bother considering this.

New day, new issues.

I wouldn’t be surprised if every team has these every year, it just never gets publicized because the reaction will be “lol rich people problems.”
Is anyone shocked that there were issues? Including the preseason, we played 27 of 31 games on the road, and some of those stops were in places like Boise and Wichita, which aren’t necessarily going to have NHL quality facilities. In January, we played 3 straight weeks of Tues-Thurs-Sat-Sun. They played 16 games in the month of March, including another 2 straight weeks of Tues-Thurs-Sat-Sun.
Coyotes were put through the ringer by the schedule this year.

1. Larry Brooks is a fuckin clown. 2. “Multiple complaints” could mean two, or ten. It’s intentionally vague. 3. There is zero context. Give me any reference point for how many complaints other teams, how many this team got previously. 4. Larry Brooks is a fuckin clown.

New York. State has three nhl teams and they still haven’t won anything in this century. Embarrassment of riches. Emphasis on embarrassment.

Larry Brooks is the worst. The Coyotes owner is also the worst. Ref. Athletic article by Katie Strang

Build the arena or lose your team, more hit pieces like this will continue to come forward. Whole city of Phoenix is in control of whether they believe the Coyotes are worth keeping, because regardless if you believe hockey works here it’s better to have the team than not have the team.
