    As a Kings fan this is so great! Great thing is that we probably need one more year of missing the playoffs before we can make a legit push which gives him a year or two to develop. People forget this guy is almost a full year younger than Laf based on the draft cut off dates (if he was born 27 days later he would be in next years draft).

    This year we give a taste to Alex Turcotte, Fagemo, Akil and Kaly. If any are NHL ready great if not send them to the AHL. By the following year we should be locked and loaded.

    As a Kings fan I am happy. He was my guy, but wouldn't have minded if they took Stutzle or Rossi either.

    Considering we won't know for around another two years , I guess we'll see. I'm sure he makes it just on size and skating alone though. As for the Hawks , rumor had it they were trying to move up , to like 10-12 range. My guess is either the goalie or Lundell would have been in play , which sucks , because they would have easily been in the running had things been normal.
