I'm gonna miss playoff hockey.
Can you imagine Dubas takes a year off signs with who ever.and Nylander and Mathews decide to say and wait till contracts are up before making a decision on signing.and leave to go where Dubas is.
Treliving sucks. Why would any team want a GM that was fleeced on a trade that caused his playoff team to miss the dance. I hope they give Stan Bowman a consideration. 3 cups with Chicago and a solid draft record.
If this was leaf’s decision then another curse has instantly come to life. Absolutely embarrassing organization. Bring in a rookie gm and let him screw up learn his mistakes this year with a better team, then before he’s getting closer to cracking the code let him go win a cup elsewhere. Typical knee jerk fans management and organization. His blood is blue. Getting sick of this organization and fellow fan base truly! It was the players that lost this one
Shanahan , Dubas , Keefe and the clearly inept board needed to go as well. It is very likely that a really dirty team will win Cup if the Canes don't win it.

SHANAHAN should GO too! It’s nice to use Dubas as a scapegoat. Shanahan’s plan didn’t work when he hired Dubas to be the Leaf’s GM.

Nope. Cuba’s had no hand in the decision. He was gone after the Florida fiasco.

Can’t say anything else than Dubas’s tenure was an absolute failure, right from his very first signing of Tavares. That contract is an obvious albatross now but the Leafs didn’t need him. They were the 3rd highest scoring team in the NHL at the time with Mathews and Kadri as 1 & 2 centres, so why sign Tavares, jersey sales? Maybe the call’s already been made to London?
Sounds like Dubas screwed himself at his presser by instilling some doubt in Shanny. Then he doubles down and asks for more money on top of it. Big mistake Kyle! Its all good though, because there are all kinds of airheads in youtube comment sections that seem to be qualified for the job.
Shit! I was loving the direction the team was going and they should have kept them all together. Not going anywhere but down each playoffs is perfect! All hype no show.
