   Watching this situation from the outside over a number of years, there is no way anybody could logically conclude that the same amount of pressure was put on everybody else in the Leaf’s organization, as there was on the shoulders of Kyle Dubas.

   It’s a sad commentary on the Leafs state of affairs when lack of success had nothing to do with the decision not to resign. Pittsburgh fires GM and President after one failed cup conversely they have won cups. Toronto no cups no accountability.

   I don't think anyone could say Kyle didn't put everything into his job as GM of the Leafs, no matter what the haters say. Did he make a couple of questionable signings, particularly early in his tenure, Yes. But, I think he grew and matured as a GM every year.
