Brad Marchand Throws Justin Braun Into The Net & Slew Foots Oskar Lindblom
The Philadelphia Flyers took exception to Brad Marchand throwing Justin Braun into the net, but it was Marchand who knocked Oskar Lindblom’s legs out from under him in the scuffle.
Perhaps you have the wrong sport folks – this is hockey. They both skated in with their arms up leaning in at each other, one of them dropped his arms, lost his balance, lost that battle and Marchand stayed with him, of course.
He didn't drive him into the goalie nor cause interference – that would have been your next accusation 🙄
And the second guy that came after Brad marchand, was poking at his skates at the very beginning of this highlight following him up the ice…trying to trip him, take a closer look.

And it seems to be a problem when the little guy can handle himself out there – someone else can't keep up with his strength, has to tap out of the battle, and you're blaming the superior hockey player?
He didn't drive the Flyer and himself into the goalie..nor his head
Didn't act as if he got pulled in there, so goalie interference wouldn't be his fault… We've seen that one a few thousand times by lots of players
that would have been flopping.
And every team has a more aggressive player – someone who goes through puberty on ice. That's what you're watching on all hockey teams.
Let's put it this way, the 12-year-old girls Marchand was playing with as a kid, could board US college hockey players,
No penalty there but that Sam Morin check in the third is somehow a roughing. This leagues a joke that’s going nowhere with it’s officiating that doesn’t know the game.
I know it's easy to hate him, and he definitely threw Braun into the net unnecessarily, but I'm not sure we can call that a definitive slewfoot. He's already off balance leaning towards his left as he's getting pushed into the boards, to me it looks like that's just his body's natural reaction to try to counterbalance that.
Not that he's given any reason to receive the benefit of the doubt, I'd just like to persecute him for things he definitively does, not the maybes.
