Panther fan here, no problem with the hit. Actually Lundell saw it coming and kind of bailed out. I have no idea why our absentee captain Barkov felt the need to wrestle the B dude to the ice but hey I have no problem with what Barkov did either….
I’m a Florida Panthers fan and although I didn’t like to see Lundell get hit, it was a clean hit. McAvoy did leave his feet but it wasn’t by much. Game on. Play with your head up (as he did) and play hard
Contact is clean. My problem is Big Mac launches into the hit. If you don't see it, set your playback speed to .25 NOW and then jump to 0:20 By rule, this isn't allowed. In reality, it is tolerated. For Mac, just being there would have been enough to break the play, and not the player. IMO, that should be the standard.

Even cleaner when you see Ekblad try to blindside McAvoy without the puck earlier in the game. I say try because he failed miserably and hurt himself.
