Im confident Houston can develop hockey talent if the youth hockey programs get developed down there. Houston texas has produced more current NBA and NFL players than any other city in the world. Alot of top athletes come from Houston
I think the fact they have been in trouble for so long means a move will be good. I'm all for growing the game but the Coyotes have been there since 1996. One superstar, who is now a bit divisive in his fan base, in 27-28 years just doesn't justify keeping them there anymore
Atlanta has a huge metro area that has always supported the Gladiators. People said “hockey will never work in the South.” But with some SUCCESS AND GOOD OWNERSHIP. You have Tampa becoming a dynasty, Nashville being passionate, Carolina and Florida are playing in the eastern conference finals. Hockey will work in Atlanta!
