Sadly I agree here. Yamamoto unfortunately has only been slightly better than Puljujarvi's tenure in Edmonton. He hasn't done enough, and hasn't shown the growth needed Ceci has slipped back into his defensive lapses that he had in his game when he joined Toronto. He's not good enough on the right side What I believe they need to do is trade them both, and look for a 2nd pair more defensive defenceman. It sucks to think that Larsson would've been the perfect candidate for that spot, but the Oilers need another player like him
I think those two need to be moved. The best replacement would come from within the organization. Sign a couple of free agent and trade deadline would only need a few adjustment
I like Yamo, yes, he's not on the scorecard as much as we'd like, but his puck retrieval is outstanding and a smart player. (no, I'm not a relative). Darnell Nurse is probably more problematic on about 3 levels which makes Ceci look bad.
0 wins past the second round since 2006 no championship since 1990 probably time to replace 90% of that team and 60% of their fan base. Canadian fans put to much pressure on their players to preform. That’s why they don’t win. How long will 97 and 29 put up with an organization that doesn’t produce. Year 9 prime time is fading

If Kane plays like he did in the playoffs he needs to go too. Nobody would have known he was even playing if it wasn't for the penalty box. The thing that worked best is his mouth

Nurse has sucked the past couple of seasons. Get rid of Ceci and find a competent D partner for Nurse. Someone that can cover up his deficiencies.

Not sure anyone is picking up Yamo unless draft picks are involved, he’s young, might just be a better option to buy him out.
