  1. youll get snapped off every time if you lock up the drag and try brutus it. you need to give a little so they can kite round off the danger area. stow has had pressure every single day of the carp lives. they are not pasties or like other fish you can bully. they know how NOT to be caught better than you know how to catch them. ive been going walthamstow since i was 14yo, and im 43 now.

  2. I have waters that both look insanely beautiful, in the middle of forest surroundings and they all hold carp you literally dream about, all over where I live and yet sometimes fishing for them is so much harder than I wish it would be, fishing for a hobby like this is illegal here and although many of us do it, it doesn't come without its hassle and problems at times for sure. I miss the Uk and spent many many years catching beautiful carp there but what I actually miss most, is being able to fish openly and freely how I wanted, with all my gear, and not having to check over my shoulder, make sure everything's good with where I am, blah blah.

    Anyway great video

  3. I turned off when you fished so close to the snag that you cannot land the fish and had to hand line it into the net . That is the problem with inexperienced anglers with a camera teaching others how not to do it.

  4. Great Vlog Jacob, been following your stories on Insta. That koi hybrid was a stunner, kingfishers and massive carp in the centre on London, what a privilege πŸ‘Œ

  5. My man out here netting fish without a rod, with his bare hands, straddling a tree branch, in his pants! Dedication mate very nice work! hahaha awesome!

  6. That was a great watch Jacob. Although I almost spat my drink out at "Don't do me in the pipe!" 🀣🀣

  7. I’m not really a fan of placing a bait ,where my chances of damaging the fish and leaving tackle in the lake are so high

  8. This is very similar to what I was doing in France Frank at Vaulaurent I use or 2 Swan shots 1 inch from hook as you see Frank We Nailed a few !! I love the idea of these weights they look spot on 😊😊😊

  9. Is there a way to rent basic carp equipment for a day maybe with a guide for a tourist coming to London. Would like to experience a day at the lake and possibly a 35lb carp.
