It's actually crazy, I feel like VGKs leverage for getting a good return must be low.. Maybe I'm wrong, but the obvious teams with money aren't in the market for a Pacioretty.. but I mean LA would make sense
Nashville has something big planned.. don't know if it's any good but David Poile is always trying something.. he needs to get young talent. Not older
The only team I can see spending that kind of cash to offer sheet Pacioretty would be the Rangers. They are equal to the Leafs in cash flow (they own the Rangers and the Knicks and MSLE owns the Leafs and the Raptors) and they need to spend at least 4m to reach the cap floor so they have the money and the incentive. Would he sign? No idea. They have a lot of promise right now but I'm not so sure they are a contender next year so who knows.

Terrific analysis. Winnipeg is going to wait as long as they can. They are taking same approach as Sakic took with Duchene. Winnipeg doesn’t want to rush and lose the trade.
