Like every year, the Colorado Avalanche seems to be in the mix on some of the bigger names floating around that could possibly be on the move.
After another early round exit for the Toronto Maple Leafs, many are feeling like it’s time to blow the thing up and make some drastic changes. One of those changes could be trading away forward William Nylander who will be heading into the final year of his deal. And the name you heard a lot of on where he could go was the Avalanche.
In years past, we would almost dismiss this talk. But with the knowledge that Gabriel Landeskog won’t be available for next season, a drastic move on the Avalanche’s part might need to be made as well. So for this offseason, all options might be on the table.
It’s what you would have to give up to get Nylander that is the hard part. Because it’s likely something you don’t want to do.
An interesting offseason is right around the corner.

I don't really pay attention to these rumors but if Nylander?! Is the one member of the core 4 the leafs want to move then yes please! Willy Nylander is the one guy that consistently has shown up in the playoffs.
Even before you did this show I was thinking newhook and Byrum for nylander would be a fair trade byrum is very good but I don’t trust his health yes shaggy you are right but this is short term gain with nylander and I believe he would come to the avs.
It looks like with toews it might cost 7 mil maybe 5 years and try to ship out girard if possible it would really suck to lose toews he is so good.
Nylander you are an Av lol
did ryan o reilly NOt wanna come to avs? Avs gm, chris somebody, is a complete dunce. get rid o him. bringin a buncha old, middle of the road guys in. was the goalie trade a $ saver? now thats not on chris the piss. was…………unnecessary, irrelevant. guess u can't dump landeskog. he's history. nothing personal. Fantastic guy and cup winner.
