First regular season episode for season two of My Calgary Hitmen In Six where they start off their 25th anniversary campaign, with higher expectations due to many regulars returning and reaching to the second round of the playoffs last season. Would say the first six game segment is a good start but didn’t start off well with an overtime loss and the Edmonton Oil Kings still seem to have the Calgary Hitmen’s number at the end. Still exciting to see what the Calgary Hitmen have in store for the 2019-20 WHL Season.

Game 4: Sunday, September 29th – Medicine Hat Tigers 0 @ Calgary Hitmen 2
Game 5: Sunday, October 6th – Portland Winterhawks 2 @ Calgary Hitmen 5
Game 6: Saturday, October 12th – Calgary Hitmen 4 @ Edmonton Oil Kings 6
Latest CHL Rankings have the Calgary Hitmen ranked 5th and highest ranked of WHL teams. Prince Albert Raiders are 6th Edmonton Oil Kings are 8th with Moose Jaw Warriors honourable mention. Calgary Hitmen started season as an honourable mention. Oshawa Generals of OHL are 1st.
Leadership group has Mark Kastelic as captain. Dakota Krebs, Jett Woo, Riley Stotts and Carson Focht to wear the “A” as assistant captains.
G Jack McNaughton and D Luke Prokop listed on NHL central scout preliminary players to watch list for 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
In addition to some Calgary Hitmen news I go over what’s ahead on the schedule for the next six game including an outdoor hockey game which I’ll talk about in the next episode.
Note this upload is a couple of days late as I was on the road when the Calgary Hitmen played their sixth game of the season and recorded it while on the road. Waited until I got back home where I have faster and more reliable internet connection.
