Look they lost and I’m not blaming the refs at all. But I’ve been playing and watching hockey over 30 years, I’ve never seen that play Gudas did in a game before… ever. He literally reached down, grabbed Jarkrok’s stick blade, pulled the stick up off the ice, and held it there so he couldn’t make a stick check.
Has anyone seen that play before? Did the refs miss it because it was an unpredented play? Or did they just not call it because of how intense the play was and the pucks in the back of the net and then you can’t call it?
I mean you call that pick play on Holl last year, you have to make that call. You have to.

The fact that Schenn had zero fights in this series is unacceptable. Grab someone. Bum rush someone. Do. Fucking. Something! They just sat back and let everything happen. On the flip side, if the Leafs won the cup by getting away with murder for 4 rounds, injuring other players and being complete douchebags (like this), I wouldn’t be proud of the team. It’s a hockey game. Play within the rules. Clearly the league doesn’t care about that. They just want another American team in the finals.
