Steal of the draft!
I find it funny that 62nd overall we took a guy who is now better offensively than the 4th overall pick from the year before. AND IT WASNT EVEN OUR OWN DRAFT PICK WE USED
Snuggerud is better
Thank you Brett Kulak
I just wanna ask how do u feel about his size in the nhl. Will it be a concern. The numbers are awesome tho
Mr Hutson plays at Boston U with his brother, Quinn, just like A Fantilli does with his brother Luca. He's currently got 43 points in 33 games. This year i noticed a dude that developed later, a C Mason out of Long Island who's a rookie as well, 32 points in 24 games, I'm just waiting to see if this is going to be consistent or a one of year. If you use the Elite Prospects own NCAA record list, hit ppg at the right side of the screen, and you'll notice a defenseman with a higher ppg then Mr Hutson, he's currently #9 on scoring over the entire NCAA.
He was drafted as a 5'8. He had his doctor's papers saying his bones had yet to finish growing. Now, some sites (hockeyDB) has him at 5'10. He would have gone first overall at that height.
He will become a bonafide superstar in the NHL, i have no doubt about it, and i said the same thing for Caufield.
Lane Hutson is by far the best prospect for the habs, Sean farrell also worth a mention.
He has tremendous skills, he is himself, wether the best or amongst the best in NCAA
This is exactly what the habs need on thier future powerplay
i wonder when hed be available to play in the nhl since hes in college
Without exaggeration, Lane Hutson is the Connor Bedard of defensemen in the U-20 hockey leagues
Jeeze Habs fanboys need to stop pumping this kid's tires. He wasn't all that impressive in the world juniors tournament. I want to see him play in the NHL against men. A small D man like him will get killed in an NHL game.
Anyone else get Adam fox flashbacks?
Well pretty much what you think, I will put it in perspective, how many teams if they could get a redraft, wouldn't pick Lane in the top 15 or I think top ten da?
Just to extend this train of thought, I think Montreal just got four first rounder in one draft! And it's not even one year from the draft!!!
Theo Fleury!
He did that this year. Imagine what he will do, and the records he will break next year. He will have one more year In college. Cheers
i am very curious how hudsons stats compare to the greatest of all time. go back and compare him to old school players like gretzky and lemieux ect. size matters not. its how you play the game that counts.
Been a Canadiens fan since 1960. Watched quite a few videos of Hutson very good with the puck and not bad on defense a little like Peter Svboda (sorry for the spelling) . What I don't see is a decent shot from the point to be more dangerous at the NHL level. I don't know if he can develop that but it will be necessary if he plays the power play at the NHL level. Hope he makes it , I like him but have some doubts.
Well I just think Beck should of. been picked higher, but already a stall at 33rd!
Steal
5'10, please and thank you.
Kent Hughes is a talented guy when it comes to spotting both talent and character.
Playoff lane Hutson is going to be a fun watch
Why is he only 5'10? What is wrong with him? Instead of doing fancy plays he should work on his height.
He will have to keep improving, the Ncaa
looks defensively weak imo.
The problem with smaller players is you can't have a team of them. You can't have too many smaller players because it exposes a weakness. You can have caufield and Hutson but you need more size to compensate
161 lbs 💀💀
