  1. Kings can make some noise this year if they figure out the PP/ 5v5 scoring, stay healthy, and have one goalie playing above league average. Also if Colorado get the same level of goaltending next year no one in the pacific will stand a chance against them.

  2. Here is my predictions for the Pacific 1.EDM 2.VAN 3.CGY 4.LAS 5.LAK 6.SEA 7.ANA 8.SJS ofcourse they are just predictions, will be an interesting year in this division. Have a feeling the Canucks are playoff bound.

  3. this is where you review last year's predictions and it adds substantially to your video.

  4. Don't want to sound to optimistic about the Canucks, but they are better than last year all round. Might be the best team they inked in a long while. Playoff bound but that is as far as I can say they go. Don't think they are cup material yet. Could be a power house on offense. How many games did Halak lose. Both goalies should be good this year. Demko's best year coming up. Save percentage and goals against. Petey will start at 100%. Yeah I would call them a dark horse. They are good, but how good? Bruce seems to get the most out of his players.

  5. I'm an LA Kings fan. At the moment 2 rounds in the playoffs next season is realistic.

Maybe competing for 1st in the Pacific with Calgary making changes (we'll have to see) and Vegas possibly taking a step back.

Vancouver might better than last seasons record suggests. Anahiem, San Jose, and Seatle I'm not worried about.

Edmonton and LA were close record wise last season. Might be close again.

  6. Oilers, Kings, and it doesn't matter because they will be gone in the first round. I doubt that any wild cards come from this division. I would love for more Canadian teams to do well, but I don't think it will happen this year in this division.

  7. Feel free to share your comments below! I encourage everyone to share their opinion, always fun to see savvy fans engaged in good hockey talk but please be respectful. Cheers

  8. Matty Beniers is already a franchise player for Seattle, not saying they wouldn’t welcome Bedard, just that you ignored him and talked about Wright. Keep your eye on Beniers!

  9. Vegas SHOULD be a playoff team. However, there is a real danger the way the team has been run ends up sinking them.

  10. Flames could bring some rookies to get extra goal scoring. They have some great prospects. Matt Philips

  11. This was one of the more accurate breakdowns of this division. I think Edmonton and LA look like solid playoff teams and Calgary will take a step back minus Tkachuk but is probably good enough to still finish 3rd. The other two CA teams look awful. The two teams that really intrigue me in this division are LA and Van. If Van plays like it did under Boudreu they could sneak into the playoffs but you wonder if the JT Miller contract becomes an issue. LA looks like the team who's about to enter their Cup window. I'm glad you mentioned the Doughty and Arvidsson injuries. They likely beat Edm with those two guys and who knows against Cal. If their young guys like Byfield, Kaliyev, etc take that next step then with addition of Fiala you now have three legit scoring lines.

  12. What I really don't want to hear in a predictions video is, "Time will tell" or the classic, "We'll have to wait and see." Of coures we'll wait and see, but you're here to give your opinion. In MY opinion. Vegas will drop big time. Adding "the star of the moment" haphazardly without any plan will hurt them, and so will the lack of goaltending. Calgary will drop as well. Sutter has a history of his teams doing well in the first year and then regressing. They have a very old team and injuries will be a big issue. Edmonton should make the playoffs but with Campbell on board don't expect a long playoff run, I don't care how much of a nice guy he is. Los could be very good if the youngsters continue to develop, and could even overtake Calgary. The Canucks are a dark horse as many things have to go right for them to make the playoffs, but don't underestimate their forward group and goaltending. Seattle a few years off, and San Jose is rebuilding. I have no idea what the hell Anaheim is doing.

  13. After moving out Mony to Montreal and securing a new 2nd line Centre I think you might need to move Calgary up one spot!
