He remains the only person I know that kept his NY’s resolution

It’s no coincidence the wings had that 6 game skid immediately after he got hurt

He is really coming into his own, unlike Zadina. A really nice surprise as it was looking like the end of the Holland era was nothing but busts

Big guys are always late bloomers. Ras is going to have a nice career.

I wrote him off last season. But I am super excited to be dead wrong. I think under Blashill, he was being groomed to be a 3rd line defensive/checking center. And it just isn’t his game. Once he was allowed to fore check and be aggressive, he looked like a different player. Good for him and good for the wings. A 6’6″ player with grit is EXACTLY what our team needs to get to the next level.

He is at the top of my “build the team around him”

Big player taking more time to grow into their body is just too common. Gotta be patient because the payoff can be massive.

I love Rasmussen. I was so hyped to see him keep his resolution and become a core part of the Wings this season. Gotta respect the death stare!

Probably one of the only things we can thank Tanguay for, according to both Blash and Lalonde it was him who pushed to move Ras to wing.
