Not a good look for Pietro

Anyone else see his two handed slash on Draisaitl last night? Not very often I’ve seen our old captain lose his composure. What do you think should be the discipline for the play?

He threw his stick in that bubble playoff game a few years back. Most of the time playing with passion is good but sometimes I think Petro plays with a little too much…

Should probably get a game or two.

I wonder why Vegas looked so…slow last night? They got dominated the entire game, slow to pucks and whatnot. Gas themselves out in game three or something?

  2. At least a game. Uncalled for, Petro. Absolute intent to injure.

This should be a game suspension and a painful fine.
Ideally, I’d like to see multiple games for events like this even in the playoffs… but that’ll never happen.

Yeah. Should be a 1-game suspension at least. I was disappointed to see him do that.

Guess he was getting revenge for the Kane cross check to his neck. Regardless, you shouldn’t do that.

It’s the dirtiest play I’ve seen in the playoffs so far this year. Bunting got 3 games for his hit to the head. At least that was a hockey play gone wrong. This is just a blatant attempt to injure. Skating way out of his way to two hand a guy on the wrist.

That being said the next worst play in the playoffs was Eberle’s hit from behind, which got absolutely nothing. I’d say he gets one game max, but it should be multiple games. No room for shit like this in the game

I feel like a disappointed dad. They said he is dealing with a lot of shit but he is better than that. 1 game and don’t do that shit again. Be a man and drop the gloves if you are tired of their shit. But don’t go doing stuff like that. So disappointed in Petro. OR, and this may be an unpopular opinion, but slash Kane next time.

He should miss a single game.

What he did was entirely uncalled for and entirely inappropriate, but this is hockey and we’ve all seen worse.

A game should do the trick. Two if the league really wants to send a message.

Based off of DOPS ruling on spurgeon. $5000 dollar fine.

Definitely stupid move. But we don’t know what happened during the game. Don’t forget Evander Kane cross check his face in previous game.

Probably deserves a game, but DoPS and the officials are partly to blame for allowing the series to escalate to this. Maybe if they had suspended Kane for his deliberate attempt to injure Pietrangelo then the players would know what sort of standard the officials are trying to enforce. When plays like [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/comments/13cbfxx/evander_kane_crosschecking_penalty_on_alex/) are tolerated it makes you question where the line is and what is considered too far.

This is Todd Bertuzzi stuff. Wild and so dirty.

If you look at this play alone, you would say suspension

However, Kane and Drais both should’ve been suspended after game 3 for kane illegal cross check to Petro face and Drais hitting petro leaving his feet. Nothing happened to them, so nothing should happen to petro.

It’s the leagues fault for not punishing Kane and Drais. Now they need to make a statement saying moving forward in the series any more shit like that will be an automatic suspension

  14. In my opinion I think this calls for a couple game suspension

  15. TheStuffle

Not a great look, probably deserves a game for that. He’s not the type to do that without significant provocation though.

Kane crosschecked him in the face the other night and Drai is a known shitbag who likes to spear people in the dick, so I’m sure there was some buildup to this.
