They’re just salty they didn’t win. Chicago got lucky with a LOTTERY. But just because they got the consensus top player doesn’t mean success is guaranteed. Look at Edmonton with mcdavid. Haven’t been to a cup final, let alone win one. Now it’s on Davidson to develop the team he wants

Yeah, they have to string drafts together. Every one of those dynasty like teams strung a few quality drafts together. Davidson so far did well last year, this year he’s gonna get one pick right but still has to hit with the other firsts and seconds in the following years otherwise we’ll be in hockey purgatory like Edmonton where you’re just good enough to constantly make the playoffs but struggling to make it to the finals.

As a flames fan I agree, no evidence the lottery is rigged. Plus if it went by population Calgary would have won at least one, yet the highest we’ve gone is four in 2014, Before that the highest we’ve gone was 6…
