You must have never been competitive in or passionate towards something before

  2. GrandpaMofo

I’ve always liked Paul Maurice and hope he get Florida far into the playoffs.

Saving this audio for my unmotivated moments.

  4. ManyConscious

Loved him in Winnipeg. Hope he gets a cup.

  5. It’s almost as if he coached them to do this. Eh Keefe?

  6. Fastsmitty47

There you go. There you go. THERE YOU GO!!

I would pay absurd amounts of money to get a live ice feed instead of the broadcast. Mark it NSFW and age restrict it if you’re concerned about blowback, but damn to be able to hear this night in and night out would be incredible

Florida is playing so loose while the Leafs are playing tight under the pressure, which is hurting them.

  9. Contrast this to Bruce Cassidy. I sat behind the bench for a Bruins Canadiens OT playoff win a couple years ago. He said 4 words the entire game and every one of them was whispered to his assistant coach. He stood there putting a mark in his little book every 3 or 4 minutes, not a single communication between him and the players. Weird as hell. Also for the record when you can hype up players and they turn around to acknowledge you it’s the best shit ever. Worth the seat price.

A coach without this level of passion isn’t a coach. This is great to see, and that’s coming from a B’s fan.

Dudes finna make me run 5 miles right this moment

You can legit feel his blood pressure

  13. Grizz709

The guy is a fan of the game that he loves to work in. Nothing wrong here.

I’ll take a coach like that any day over Girard gallant who I cringed every time he spoke. Man I weewy weewy not sowwy to see him go. Gallant had no strategy, made no major changes in their series, and the guys came out flat in the first period all year, and then stayed flat in three out of the seven biggest games of the year

He’s passionate. That means he’s on something?

Always loved me some PoMo. I think we all now know I wasn’t the coach in Winnipeg… it was the organization. Glad he’s finding the success he deserved!

  17. Anerythristic

He said he’s rediscovered his love for coaching with the move to the Panthers.

    He obviously wasn’t lying

  18. You mean, **high** on a 7 game playoff winning streak. Who wouldn’t be?

  19. Markorific

Now that’s a hockey Coach… fully engaged in the game!! Best Coach in the NHL right now!!!

This man gave the greatest post game interview I’ve ever heard about a month ago.

“If I could have found a fucking way to be more profane than I was I would’ve, I’m not gifted enough. I needed to channel my father, who’s a gifted curser, that was all I had.”

Interviewer: “Without the expletive what was the message?”

“There was nothing beyond the expletive.”

How to be a good coach:

Repeat everything you say at least twice
