What does this mean? That he won’t sign with the Flames, or that he doesn’t want to come to NA yet?
Look at his pic on that tweet he looks 16 lol it’s good he gets a year to develop instead of probably maybe not even practicing with the Wranglers or something
I think this is a playing time thing. Topi Ronni probably needs a bit more development but also wants to come to NA eventually, hence the one year deal. He might have had playing time in the AHL but this is a guarantee.
Not to be negative but this pick still makes no sense to me..
Could have drafted Lane Hutson or a handful of other prospects with high end ceilings.
The right decision, no hurry, good prospect, playing in a top Finnish program. Led the U20 playoffs in points to a championship. Some folks need to relax, it’s not a race. Good 200’ C, great at the dot. Potential Backlund replacement.
