Corrado and Pounder break down what led to the Oilers’ downfall in Game 3

TSN Hockey analysts Frankie Corrado and Cheryl Pounder join Jay Onrait to discuss how Vegas shut down Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl in Game 3, what led to the Oilers’ downfall defensively, and if it’s time for Jack Campbell to start between the pipes.

  1. Oilers decided to start playing like an ECHL team after the first period. They wouldn’t get any bounces, or any puck luck. All 20 players on the ice decided to take the off day.

  2. Was a Great insight til Cheryl stated the obvious….Oh well we are in the age of EQUITY……that is what the mute button is for

  3. It was very strange. After the Vegas goalie change, the Oilers just stopped skating, stopped forechecking and just lost all intensity. It should have had the opposite effect, but they just stopped playing for no reason.

  4. Evander Kane throwing punches into Kolesar's ribs down on the ice in game 2?
    Evander f****d around and found out 5 – 1

  5. It's absolutely amazing. Not the play of LD and McD but the fact that you can be the top two players in the NHL, you can be the best team (Bruins) and yet… How is it possible? The results should be far different than what we see. If Oilers don't win at least the next two games, we may see a different team next year. RNH, Hyman and Kane are getting older and even though they should in the SC, they might not. A smart GM will look younger and trade these guys to keep the Oilers in the playoffs (at least).
