the first high stick brought me back to why i quit watching hockey 15 years ago. back to not watching. even if woodcroft and the boys give 110% the nhl wont let them win.
Evander needs to learn how to intimidate without taking a penalty at a bad time. I trust that Woody is the best coach to turn this around, and I'm feeling optimistic. Definitely a 'must win' tomorrow, its a best of 3 now. GO OILERS!
How would he/anyone explain the really odd plays that pop up every game- Nurse skating to outside BlueLine when VK skating to goal? Bouch happy to coast behind the opposition vs get in their way? Kane consciously decide to take a 2min penalty for no reason? etc etc etc Seems impossible to win with this behaviour popping up at any time. Almost psychotic; or players just not coached/told that they need to track/distract the VK in front of the net etc?

Something needs to be done about the D pairings. Ceci is not a top pairing D and the Nurse/Ceci pairing is a disaster. Please split up McD and Drai. Bjugstad needs to be on the 3rd or 4th line. He is too slow for line 2.
Absolute garbage, the refs are now cherry picking penalities because they know the Oilers will destroy their opponents on the power play. I hope Holland is calling Bettman and ripping him a new a-hole regarding this obvious egregious officiating behavior.

cant coaches challenge penalty calls? what a bogus sport. game was over after the first vgk goal. play should of been dead due to high stick.
