Pavel Mintyukov wins the OHL defenseman of the year. Joins fellow Ducks prospect Tristan Luneau of the QMJHL as a defenseman of the year winner in their respective league. Olen Zellweger has also been nominated for WHL defenseman of the year. The WHL announces their winner tomorrow

I wonder if we would be the first team to win all 3.
Mintyukov winning pretty much assures the trifecta. Clarke was the only player that could’ve thrown a wrench in it. Zelly will win the WHL by a mile.
Mintyukov, Zellweger, and Drysdale are going to be a problem for the rest of the league
Zelly was just announced as the Defensemen of the Year for the WHL, so our prospects swept the Canadian Juniors for DOTY!
Plus Hinds won the defensive d-man of the year in the Q. I don’t want to jinx it, but at least a couple of these guys need to work out in the NHL, right?
