On Hockey Day in America, the Penguins faced off against the Detroit Red Wings. Thus far in the 2019.20 season, Pittsburgh has had a franchise-high 16 American-born players dress, the most among all NHL teams. Kris Letang scored to give the Penguins their first lead of the game late in the opening period. Letang has goals in his past two games and is currently riding a five-game point streak (3G-3A). Sidney Crosby scored his second goal in his past four games. In this contest, Crosby earned a total of two points, 1G-1A. Crosby increased his point streak to four games (2G-5A). Patric Hornqvist was one of many Penguins players who had a fantastic game, recording 2G-1A.

Good game. Good effort the entire game by the Pens. Murray looked solid….not many challenging saves but at least it looks like he has his confidence back. Keep it rolling Pens!!
