I remember Antropov. He was okay. But I mainly remember him because he was a 6'6" center. Not sure if there was another one in the NHL until Bjugstad.
Leafs are my second favorite team thanks to Steve Dangle. The media hype is so fun but man they are about to crash and burn.

Dubas won't come to the Penguins, even if they wanted him. Why would he? Unless he's fired, but he won't be. They actually won a round in the playoffs for the first time since Janet Jacksons' wardrobe malfunction, so he's set for a while there. Why would any current GM with no reason to leave, and on no hot seat want to be a part of this train wreck? The only ones that would be crazy enough would be assistants looking for a step up, or a GM who just got fired, and either of those types would still have to have a screw loose to take the job after looking over this roster full of unmovable, unkeepable, and nobody wants players, and think they can build something with it. That said, in two to three years, potential GM's will be lining up. Maybe they could get Dubas then.
Interesting that Leafs did not extend his contract but talked about it since January without resolution.

Stay away from Dubas. Lou Lamorello and Mark Hunter built that team. Since they left Dooby Dooby has managed to finally win a playoff series with all that he was handed.

the only reason dubas might explore the pengins GM option is to get a foot in the door in the FSG pipeline to liverpool
The leafs have been duds with Dubas in the playoffs . I don’t think he’s done anything special the penguins can do better
While being a GM with any team is sought after my question is WHY would Dubas want the Pens job? This team is old, strapped to contracts, no prospects, and has an abysmal looking future. The leafs GM will be in demand. I think it will be a hard sell.
