   They’ll probably give it the the Bruins coach. But the bruins losing in the first round opens just the tiniest of opportunities for Hakstol to actually win it.

   alright boys i am here to officially eat crow

   i did a fair bit of grumbling about hak last year and may even have upvoted “he’s holding back the team” content… the crazy line changes, the fundamental mistakes we would make, and the baffling goaltending performances all seemed to at the coaches

   i was wrong

   he’s built something super impressive going into year 2, and he’s got the guys believing

   we added a couple of key pieces in free agency last year (and goofy nasville waivers lol), but francis/hakstol adding *nobody* at the trade deadline and saying, we like our team, we don’t want to give up any of our assets, we think we can make a run is such an awesome vote of confidence

   Montgomery (Bruins coach) is going to run away with it but it feels good just seeing Hak in the conversation for it. He deserves the respect
