  1. Id be pissed to, Mcdavid trying to be to fancy (though he skated a lot better then the last round), Nuge and Hyman were a no show, no one was backchecking, Desharnias fumbled 2 goals, and they got heavily out coached.

  2. Draisaitl should have just looked at the rest of the team after the game, said f*** you, and walked out. Pathetic effort from everyone else

  3. Leon is a beast, they seemed like they had some time off in cali……..🙄 I liked 71, Kostin threw some big hits, skinner was no where near his best, kane is getting painfully comfortable with just skating around complaining. Mcdavid needs to shoot more……..the officiating was again par for the course, both teams had a head scratcher or two but Edmonton ended up with a couple more head scratchers.

  4. Good job Drai❤
You were pretty much the only one that kept the team from absolute embarrassment with how we played tonight.

Hope the rest of the team wakes up and become hungrier for the cup.

  5. All in all it wasn't as bad as some would shout in the heat of the moment, but game 1 was to feel them out , the line jumbles i know Woody thinks its like Lego they fit anywhere, but that is not whats showing. Some line switch ups were awkward and showed player confusion and non conformity. Some lines and match ups work and some need work. now is not really the time to try untested match ups causing uncertainty in where and who was on each others lines. Sure it throws off Vegas, but clearly its showing it mixes up the forward pairings of the Oilers as well.

This is kinda on woody s much as the players tonight, you could see non familiar players unsure how new player on line skate, shoot, reacts, etc.. that's where the loose uncertain hesitation stemmed from .

Vegas did play hard and strong like they had to push hard to take on the oilers, which is to be expected. BUT Vegas CANT KEEP UP THAT pace , so as per last 2 years vs Vegas stats, historically factoring the Oilers should push 3 straight wins starting now if all things being equal based on past matching's and wins by the Oilers.

Game 1 is a testing ground and both teams played their asses off and both did well overall

  6. Leon wasn’t in the mood to chat at all. You can see him trying to very hard to refrain from yelling at these guys for their stupid questions. 😂

  7. Wait a minute. Leon scores 4 goals this game but didn't make a star of the game? Wtf?

  8. Nuge likely has bad nerves. He takes so long to aim then shoot – he had fixed that earlier this year, but going back to it a bit. But playoff hockey is not easy. Does look like coaches are not strict/clear enough insisting that players do certain things (cover the guy right beside the goalie as a top priority, where must position so other players know instictivly where will be etc Too bad -as could have won but also Vegas could have scored 10.

  9. good question spector how long does it take you to come up with them? go cover junior b hockey

  10. Skinner has been nothing but ordinary through the first 7 games. Soup should be the starter for game 2

  11. Any joy in scoring 4 tonight?
    Nope. None. Next question.
What a boss. All he wants is the W and the cup.

  12. It's time for Leon to think will he made the "Dirk move" to stay forever at the Oilers or will he win the Stanley Cup … No clue at all with this team they will not win it, Defense and Goalkeeper are average since years ago

  13. When are these guys going to get it through their heads, that Draisaitl doesn't care about personal successes? He shut down that 4-goal talk nice and quick.

Guy is a team player to the very bone. I feel bad for him that nobody else was clicking tonight, besides him. I hope more guys have better games come game 2. Leo can't be superman every single night.
