  1. Pens are a pretty injury prone team so I don't hate having excess bodies on d, but our backup goalie sitch should be the priority. Not bench warmers. So I'm really hoping this isn't our last move.

A scoring forward would be cool too. Cuz I'm NOT counting on Zucker staying healthy all season. Having him stay healthy even till this point in the season I'm in a bit of disbelief over

  2. As a comment on a THG video noted earlier this year : I think the pens have really been thrown off by having a healthy crosby malkin and letang this year.

  3. This is a good trade by the Pens. Not a big Hextall fan, but good job on this one. Freed up money and got a very solid and proven shutdown Russian defenseman. I like it.

  4. The biggest problem with the Pens right now:

-Hextall extending Carter AND protecting him in the SEA expansion draft (instead of McCann or Tanev)
    -Hextall extending Kapanen
-Hextall not trading Heinen and/or McGinn sooner

    There’s a common denominator there…

  5. Not gonna lie, that one makes me sad. I'm moving to california in a few months, and I was hoping to go to any meet-and-greet kind of event in Anaheim to get an autograph from Kulikov. Thing is, he played in my QMJHL hometown team (Drummondville Voltigeurs) that got me into hockey way back when they went to the Memorial Cup (I think it was in 2009?). I wanted to show up with a Voltigeurs jersey and have him autograph that. Now that he's in Pittsburgh, I better forget about that one!

  6. I really love what you guys do on the broadcast – video , but find it really hard to watch with that Leaf's Jersey in the background and discussing other Teams downfalls while Leaf's have not made it out of 1st round since you guys were born and none of you were around in 1967 – REALLY ! SERIOUSLY !
