You can't win hockey playing in your own end,letting your goalie stoping shots,the Rangers didn't even take a decent shot on the Devils goalie. Where was the Rangers power play? Boston was knocked out, the path to a Stanley Cup was easier.Im very disappointed, so are all Ranger fans. I hope there are major changes for next season.

They fell into the same trap…..WTF is with this team…..they play inconsistent hockey…..they let Sheshty down they let the whole fan base down…..the best lines were the 3rd & 4th…..what happened to Kane…. he's done….he should retire….. Panarin is way to small and weak….he gets pushed around like a toy……… he's a pussy…….get rid of him and Kane…..the game has changed….
Even though they were totally outplayed, Rangers had 5 really good point blank chances, including Zebanajed when it was 0-0. Schmid made the saves. Devils just better. If Kane is healthy then he is in decline.

Igor Shesterkin is an incredible Goaltender however 0 for 3 in first period , in Playoffs , you don't win very many games. Last year they advanced against Pens in OT playing a Team with both their Top Goaltenders out .. Big changes coming to the Rangers , ,,, Tara and Kane .. it DID NOT WORK … ?

Too much stick checking by them, backing into the D zone and letting the Devils make their way towards the net. Aside from Trouba's hit, nobody did much physcially. They got what they deserved, unfortunately.

I love the guys on the team, but man, what a complete letdown. I saw no grit, no energy, no physicality and no true desire to win. Not winning battles, no scrums in front, making terrible turnovers and giving up on plays is a recipe for losing. The key to winning this series, imo, was by taking the body and slowing them down thru the neutral zone with physicality and forechecking hard. I watched the Rangers avoid contact all over the ice, that's just not playoff hockey.
Sorry, you can have all the talent in the world, but you can't win anything without grit and determination to impose your will. Everyone, except Igor, needed to elevate their energy and no one stepped up.
