They're building something special in Chicago. I can't wait for the season to begin! Too bad Rogers left. I really would have liked to see the Bears shut him up! Oh well I guess I'll have to settle for watching him struggle with the Jets.
Jack hammel haters damn!! That dude is a stud.
Just with the FA and draft not even knowing whom we will sign after June cuts I see us being a tough 7-9 to 9-7 team no one wants to play and EVERYONE see's coming as a dominant team for hopefully a decade plus. With the WR and numerous future picks (3 in total 2 in 2024 and 1 2nd rounder in 2025) this will go down as the best draft in the last 10 to 15 years and will go higher if 2 or 3 become high level good to great starters.
Philly got way better.
Poles and eberflus are bad at evaluating wide receivers! LOL, Pringle, st Brown, Pettis, just downright bad.
My only qualm is that we didn’t take Tuli at 53. That guy is gonna end up being a pro bowler for the chargers
Wait? So you dog the Bears for taking 2 players in the late 2nd round who have traits but love the Green Bay draft who took Van Ness? A guy who didn’t start at Iowa. Wow.
Should’ve have drafted Hyatt from Tennessee if you wanted a “1-trick pony” that takes the top off
Bears made great picks, and you cannot criticize their picks. Poles and his team have been studying, and see these players. It doesn't matter what the fans think..otherwise they'd be in charge. Same for you guys, although you make good commentary.
I would love a trade for cox
Gipson, Robinson, Green, and Walker are the most likely end rotation. Maybe ad someone like a Frank Clark
EQ and Pettis both are useless pass droppers.
I'm disappointed I'm not very worried about offensive line up graded thru free agency but they should of drafted Jalen carter tampa 2 defense needs a wicked 3 tech alah Tommie Harris, Warren sap, Henry Melton to be dominant
People are not sure about the draft because they didn't draft any big names. They drafted the best players available for the position & with that being said just because it doesn't look good on paper we might be looking at a top 10 defense on the field..
What if we traded for Chase Young? I think we’d have a top 10 defense, minimum. Potentially top 3
Also Velus gunna be a legit special teamer/gadget guy. He showed his potential at the end of the year, it looked different when he ran with the ball. They ain’t getting rid of him after 1 year, especially when he showed improvement. Also Poles would be admitting he was wrong if they let him go, we’ve seen GMs hold on to way worse players than Velus
My grade was B
For a team that went 3-14 last year, you would think adding blue chip talent would be a necessity. Jalen Carter was a top 3 player in this draft. He would have added tremendous penetration in the middle.Israel Abanikanda is a more dynamic back that can take it the distance.Keaton Mitchell is a blur, why not draft a change of pace running back.Roschon Johnson is the same style of RB as D'Onta Foreman. Adetomiwa Adebawore was available later picked at 110. He has a good motor hustles to the end of the whistle.Bryon Young 4.43 40-yard could have been picked with 53,56,64. It seems there were better players available.
The only thing id say I would change is instead of the 2nd round corner we get center Schmitz instead. A bonefied C to go with our Bonefied LT and RT
People are saying the Lions, won, the Packers won or even the Vikes won. so I need to remind you who the Bears got in the draft 1 round DJ Moore, Darnell Weight plus a 2024 1st, 2025 2nd. Wo did better in the first round than Wright and Moore? Nobody is the correct answer. For those who are worried about new WR talent in the division let me remind you the best position group we had coming into the draft was the secondary and we just added two potential stars to defend against the pass.
You can't give the Bears a B+ if you account for DJ Moore. The grade must be an A at the very least. But a draft can't be graded for a few seasons and with that in mind you must consider all the future draft capital. I would have picked Tuly or Brook over Dexter.
Draft grade – F
We literally got worse, and I didn't think it was possible!
I'm glad the draft is over, I don't have to hear from the so called experts of who the bears will draft!!
Yeah you don't need to be able to run routes in the NFL 🥴
I would of have swap carter and bergeron for Gordon and wright, took a chance on te Washington, and definitely signed udfa wr wheaton. Was more of a fan of turner at cb. Time will tell.
That RB could be the starter
Shrock I really hope you’re right about Van Ness because I really wanted him drafted.. and the fact GB took him is fucked..playing against his home team..bull💩💩💩
Grades? Lmao 🤣 corny
Jones is good did you see his last three games when they gave him a second chance? Even scored touchdown or two a
