Wasting game 3 and 4 came back to bite us. Boys fought hard, even outplayed them at times, but couldn’t find a way to win in OTs. Just wasn’t our year.

Serious question, is there anything we can do about the officiating? I mean in the NFL coaches can send plays to the league for review, seems like in the NHL you can’t do shit but suck it up.

Stammer needed to make that play at the blueline, but he let Tavares get past him. Tampa looked like the better team for much of the series, but they made some real poor decisions at critical times coupled with inconsistent goaltending.
To all the guys whose last game as a bolt was today, thank you for your service. We collected so much hardware over the past 4 seasons it would make any team blush.

Leafs had all the puck luck this series. Way she goes. Tampa was the better team most of the series but in the end all it takes is one lucky bounce. The reassuring thing is that Leafs most likely get dismantled by one of Panthers/Bruins.
