People in r/hockey in shambles. No one was whining when Adam Fox was refusing to play for any other team than the Rangers. Can’t wait to have PLD with us and he’s gonna kill it

So let him *choose* to sign here when he is a UFA

I hope we won’t trade for him and wait next summer.

I’d love to have PLD and if we can get him for something like the Timo Meier package this summer, I say go for it.

But if the Habs want to roll the dice on waiting for UFA (personally I think he’ll sign long-term with whatever team trades for him this summer or at the deadline) that’s fine too.

He’s really not helping Chevy out at all lol

All I know is that – whether his motivation was innocent or not – after causing that big hubbub in the media by showing up at the draft in Montreal – causing an explosion of trade rumors – then, over the course of the last couple of years dropping these cryptic grandstanding comments every few months in the media, if Dubois does go all the way to free agency and DOESN’T sign with the Habs, my God the boos Chara got over the years will sound like whispers compared to what the Bell Centre crowd will unleash on Dubois every time he touches the puck when he’s in town. He will instantly be the most hated man in Montreal.

It’s ok if they give up a low end pick and low prospect, otherwise wait a year if you really want him. No reason to run to him. I hear crap like Harris traded for him. What the actual Fuck? Why?

Always with the scenarios… The man wants to come home and it’s next year. Why would we offer-sheet/trade for him? It doesn’t make sense.
