League has officiall announced that both of the penalties on Foligno in game 4 shouldn’t have been called
AND
They didn’t discipline Foligno at all for the “knee on knee” questionable hit and told the Wild it should have been a 2 for tripping.

Ok I guess…this means that I don’t know bat shit about hockey refereeing because I agreed with the major penalty being called (and at that point the game misconduct was automatic). More importantly the fact that the league directly criticized the refs stands out and hopefully this means a wake up call.

Wow, so even the league agrees that the refs screwed us? Too little too late, we are in a do or die situation now and as much as I want to believe we can pull off we likely won’t.
Refs better make it up in game 6. Because the majority of the Stars’ goals have been on power plays. Part of that is on us. But if you’re routinely over-penalizing a team that struggles on the PK (or is facing a strong PP team), then you’re gonna screw up the results.
Fuck, I don’t even care if they make it up to us. Just stop calling soft penalties on either side.

Yeah the penalties that probably shouldn’t have been penalties are a real kick in the dick, but the fact of the matter is that you still have to kill penalties. And the Wild cannot kill penalties. You’re not gonna win playoff series with a 60% penalty kill or whatever we got right now.
