  1. I had actually picked Winnipeg as the upset series winner, having helebuck, and Vegas with brossoit.

  2. Thank you Rick for saying what I’ve been saying for years. This team has been built by losers for losers.

  3. So well said. I wish I could get paid millions and not show up for work.

  4. As a Vegas fan, respect to him, he just calls it as he sees it. This Vegas team is just solid, their absolutely fighters.

  5. The one good thing from this PATHETIC Jets season is we will NEVER have to watch Blake one ball Wheeler ever again and all he will ever be remembered for is being the loser who they took the C from because he broke the team!

  6. Respect to him from a VGK fan. I fully expected a major fight from the jets tonight, and other than the last 10 minutes it was just as he said, no pushback and no fight. If I was on the other side of it I’d want my coach calling it out too

  7. "Y'know Rick, you're right. Tell ya what, if you wanna get rid of Cooper or Dubois, we'll take them for cheap." ~Yzerman

  8. No push back is a result of valuing skill over character. Lowry and Wheeler always stick in a game because they don't care what way the game is played, they can play hard.

  9. None of this, "I'm proud of these guys, this team and the fans, etc." garbage. Kinda refreshing to get the straight up no-nonsense take. And Bowness is not wrong. There are some things that you can't coach into a player – pride is one of them and determination is another.

  10. I hope he resigns, not because I hate him, I love him. He shouldnt deal with this embarrassing organization at this stage in his career and age. Embarrass us please Bowness so this knucklehead organizatikn can make CHANGE

  11. As a Jets fan he's right on the money. First half of the season we're crushing it on top of the conference, second half start to slip a bit an piss the whole back end of the regular season away and barely squeak into the playoffs. Hope to see some major moves in the offseason.

  12. From Winnipeg here, and I agree, the team showed no heart today, and since January, they only showed heart when they feel like it or when they got it going, not enough smelling salts I guess to get pump

  13. I did not expect WPG to win a game in the series. The overtime loss in WPG was the defining moment in this series. Nobody likes loosing!

  14. Наконец-то в Виннипег появился тренер который говорит правду в лицо, без красивых словечек. Надеюсь, останется и перестроит нормально команду.

  15. Coach, you kept only 1 line together the whole series. You were shuffling guys around so much no chemistry could develop. Vegas kept their lines together. The Jets would have been much better with more stable lines.

  16. Ok. He's made it clear this was his last game as coach of the Jets. I'm not sure if it's the execution of play's that's the problem or the coaching staff not realizing the problems the Jet's have on getting the puck out of their zone. A former hockey player who's analyst on CBC (Kevin Bieksa) pointed it out after first period when Jet's defender simply played the puck behind the Jets net to another Jet's player who simply tapped the puck towards the blue line with little effort & a Knights player skated in to keep the puck in the zone which ended up a goal for them. Somethings very wrong! Maybe the players didn't like Bowness so didn't care that much? Maybe this goes back to when Bowness decided to not have any player wear the C on their jersey?

  17. They have PLD on their team, of course there was no pushback. I've seen the guy take a shift without even looking for the puck.

  18. This is the exact same press conference that the coach for the leafs will have if he doesn't interject some meanness into his style quickly. Hey coach Coop I know ur reading. Why isn't they're Toronto forwards on top of vasilevsky at all times. This floating around doesn't work in playoffs hockey. This is fundamental to winning why isn't that happening coach Keith why. No more floating around you get guys that want to win in front of vasilevsky everytime we're in the Ozone no exceptions NO EXCEPTIONS! That's how you beat vasilevsky be in his grill the whole game. Matthew's in his grill Tavares in his grill. We know Orye will be in his grill everytime time. In his grill shoot the puck rebounds and tips NO more outside floating around. North South hockey that's what TB is doing to US give it back twice as hard NO QUIT atleast they will really have to earn it. Your the best team on the ice now play proper playoff hockey and get this series over with. Your the better club now let's have a nasty ass game and keep it going.
