as a pens fan i was shocked that the series ended in 6 games. I was honestly thinking since game 1 that this series is going to 7 games. San Jose in my opinion is one of the most physical hockey teams in the NHL. if the Penguins do not get a chance to repeat next year and the sharks make it i will root for the sharks. This Stanley cup final has given me so much respect to your team . San Jose and LA are the teams that prove hockey in the desert works. i hope one day you will get the chance to raise the cup. Your team has more than deserved it.

As a Kings fan I can say I knew we weren't beating San Jose in the 1st round that year. They were the much better team. I hate them, but this was their best team ever
Thank You Peter DeBoer for turning the sharks from a potential playoff team to a title contender ( and Burns DESERVES the Norris Trophy this year). Growing up it was nice to see San Jose almost always make the playoffs but underachieve in the playoffs, but last season gave me hope….. we were just 2 wins short of winning it all, SJS might be a small market team, but we have great, loud, proud, and loyal fans. Sharks fans deserve a Stanley Cup. This could be our year…….

To see all these hopeful comments makes me so sad. The power of hindsight is cruel. Hopefully in a fews years someone will look back at the comment and think that I lost hope too soon because maybe just maybe we win a cup.
