WildOn7th: Episode 35- Round 1 Game 5 vs Dallas Recap
The Wild head back from Dallas for a must win Game 6 on Friday night. Carts, King, and Burnside breakdown the Game 5 shutout loss and look ahead to what they hope will be a crazy Friday in Saint Paul to even the series.
look at the energy and drive from the kraken last night. thats what it takes. wild game 5 i saw many times hesitation for the puck. that equals losers.
Big and mean strategy has never worked. Big and mean with skill works. Wild have 4 skilled players and their strategy is dirty. The dumbass hit; meant to hurt Pavs. The Foligno hit was meant to hurt Faksa. He was not going for knee on knee. Just going to hurt. Dirty first over PK/PP puck first, won't work. Period. But I get it. Wild can't hang with Dallas on skill. Keep taking penalties though.
I have to admit, I was done with the Wild ‘23 but after listening to this episode I feel like I could skate through a brick wall. (Pro analysis by Carts)

Best Wild podcast! Thanks for your insights.
EK NEEDS to do the “ Let’s Play Hockey” Friday – a must!
John is so good at what he does, he got me craving coleslaw
Highly improbable considering how we are playing like pee wee hockey
We lucked out with the 8:30 game for Friday. Great podcast!
Win Friday then beat Dallas at home. That will be the best!!!
Wild on 7th… kinda sounds like wild in 7 to me
