  1. I was there that night. I was sitting in the suite next to the pegulas and got to meet hasek, Rob ray, the pegulas and their dogs.

  2. I’ve seen great goalies in the past, Richter, Brodeur, Roy, Belfour, The Dominator was Above All! Game 6 94’first round. The 4OT 70 save shutout win, The blocker save he made in the 98 playoffs against Philly was something!

  3. When people talk of the best players of all-time goalies don't get enough recognition. Hasek should be in the conversation with the likes of Gretzky, Lemieux and Ovechkin.

  4. Best goalie ever, no question! I'll miss watching him play. "Nothing is better than to be the hockey player."

  5. Took me 3 or 4 trips to Buffalo before I got to see him play. I wasn't disappointed when I first did!!!

  6. What an outstanding goalie and class act! He was honored at the Dunlop Sports awards (PBS 17), he was introduced as "The man whom has seen more rubber than Dunlop".

  7. Knowing Eddie Belfour was probably Hasek's first real introduction to NHL goaltending is crazy. I'm not sure how close they were, Eddie is nice and I'm sure he gave him advice. But to think after Hasek left and he truly became the dominator they faced again in the Stanley cup Finals. As a Stars fan my whole family loves this dude even though we won against it. He is an inspiration to so many.

  8. If your nickname is the dominator and you stop goals instead of scoring them, you might be the best ever.

  9. The greatest goaltender to ever play in the NHL, when he came to Detroit and won the cup here it was one of the greatest sports moments I've ever seen.

  10. Hasek was an impenetrable goalkeeper, a living concrete wall of a monolith at the gate. Czech legend Buffalo! 😍👍👍👍👍👍

  11. Just ignored the elephant in the room 😂 That Buffalo sucked so bad . First year with a real team he won the cup. Can only imagine if he played somewhere else his whole career.
