I have no idea what happened to these guys in Games 3 and 4. Sure, the Devils stepped it up a notch but we've been looking flat, tired and weak. If they don't make the necessary changes fast, then they'll be playing gold by the end of this weekend.

It’s not hard, it’s called hitting your opponent. Jack Hughs couldn’t touch the puck in the first 2 games without being smoked. Non of the jersey players wanted to touch the puck. Now we let them skate around and make plays. Start hitting them again and winning the battles.

The Devils out skated the Blue Shirts. In every zone. On the power play, on the PK, and 5 x 5. The Rangers missed their shots. It’s not hard to be an incredible goalie if the opposition keeps missing their shots. Mika, Artemi, and Patrick have be better. Mika especially.
Rangers never protect the house.. when was the last home win? They play the puck like a hot potato…they never have puck posession….panarin with the same 50 ft pass gets intercepted every time….and can someone shoot on net….can't name one ranger who stood out…none….

Absolutely no one there when Schmid left a couple of pucks in the crease. The Rangers were probably changing like they always do that's how they gave up the Devils 2nd goal. Always fucking changing when they have a scoring opportunity. No one there to get the Puck just sitting there.

I miss last years playof team already that was us at our absolute best we played to win but games 3 and 4 looked like a street hockey team
This team can be something special but yet they consistently make it harder on themselves by squandering stangle holds on series they have in hand, it's frustrating.
I am 54 and seen many disappointments with this team. I can see playing hard and losing, then tipping your hat to the other team and say, well done. However, this Rangers team is playing lazy hockey. There is ZERO excuse for lazy hockey. The hitting and forecheck are not nearly the same as games one and two. Why would you want to go 6 or 7 when you can get it done in 4 or 5? There is no heart at all with this team….
Even if they get past the Devils, they will not be good enough for a cup. Good on paper means nothing. When you are supposedly good enough to make a run, put in the damn effort!!!

they were dogshit. the bottom 6 was better and getting pucks deep and keeping some o zone time, but the 4th line only played like 10 minutes. we have great depth, use it. especially when the 4th line is the only line thats hitting. i get that the devils were trapping, and so were we and thats why the game seemed like there was no intensity, so deliver the intensity. whatever happened to sending a line out there to smash? dump, and smash their d.

Those awful horrendous misses by Panarin in game 3 will haunt us for sure… how the man can miss the net BOTH times its an easy goal is AWFUL for a player of his SUPPOSED calibre… Jack Hughes owns our poverty franchise for sure… im tilted

I said it last year, and I'll say it again this year–there is something severely wrong with Madison Square Garden. The ice looks half melted by the 2nd period–Devs and Rags are slipping and falling on their own two feet constantly. Puck bounce makes no sense. Additionally, they had to stop the game last night to replace some glass. Is MSG falling apart? Thoughts?
