  1. Hawks trade Strome, Nylander/Hinostroza and Zadorav for either pick? Either team gets more depth scoring in Nylander/Hinostroza, a big bodied center playmaker in Strome and heavy hitting dman in Zadorav. Thought?

  2. Am I missing something? Why are we looking at playing Miller on the third line when he was the team’s best player just the season before?

  3. Canucks trade first and Virtanen to Philly for their first and Nolan Patrick

  4. I can’t see moving Miller to 3rd line Center is a good move. Miller has been one of their best players for whatever that’s worth. If they want Miller staying at Center, I’d be more inclined moving Peterson to wing and keeping Miller in the top 6. Pettersson has tons of talent, especially offensively, but he’s still not at that all around level you want out of your top two Centers. Horvat and Miller all day. Much easier to find a new 3C instead of a true top 6 player that will be better than Miller. Thus wasn’t his best season. But with a broad lens, 200 ft game, he’s one of their top 2 forwards along with Horvat. EP can take a breath and focus on what he’s best at on the wing. That leaves Boeser opposite at RW1, Hogberg at 2 LW and then whomever they can draft or get at RW2. I’d be fine with either Horvat or Miller at 1c.

  5. Lol reason Van brass was singing there are only 9 top tier players after the lottery….not gonna trick Ottawa into giving you a 2nd 😆😆😆😆 There are like 10 or 11 indistinguishable players at the top. Geunther might go 1st or 10th lol

  6. If there is a chance to get Jones, Reinhart, Montour, Dumba it would be worth it. There really is very few to pick from on the UFA market.

  7. Bruh waltssted, Lisyl, Lucius are all easily capable of going in the top 10, I would say this draft is like 12 deep in terms of the top for a crappy draft year compared to 2020 with guys like Laf, Stutz, Byfeild at the top.
I believe non of this years crop would have gone top 3 last year.

  8. If Ottawa does trade their pick it should only be to move up in the draft to select Brandt Clarke.

  9. One of Van scouts made this we like 9 players statement after dinging out they would be picking #9. He would have said we like 7 if he was picking 7th 😆 what was even more odd was the fact that he was selling if he be Mason McTavish was to be available at 9 that they would FOR SURE take him 😆😆😆 as if he knows he is from Ottawa area and Sens would want him?
That is like saying please trade with me, we are trying to grab the purest goal scorer in the draft Lucius or maybe elite level ceiling talent Lysel a pick or two later

  10. Benning when the Canucks pick 9th: "There are 9 guys that we really like."
Benning when the Canucks pick 17th: "There are 17 guys that we really like."

  11. Vancouver gets Tyler Bertuzzi, NYR 2nd round pick, Gustav Lindström
Detroit gets VAN 1st round pick, Olli Juolevi

    Thoughts?

  12. The kept Virtanen cause they were afraid of giving away Cam Neely. But in fact Cam Neely was Tyler Toffoli

  13. I think it's premature to say who were going to be drafting .As everything is guess work .. MacTavish would be a nice Fit For our young Team I believe..As Vancouver Canucks are in cap hell

  14. 1st line: Petey, Boesser, Trade In? 2nd Line: Horvat, Hoglander, Tanner Pearson , 3rd Line: Miller, Podkolzin, Virtannen? V 4th Line, Motte, Roussel, ? Every team has a 1a 1b on each line and the third usually a winger is a fill in Mc David, Draisaitl, Kahun/ Kassian etc etc We need to figure how many we are buying out and how many are going to play Is Virtannen in the NHL. Can Lind or Gadjovich fit in somewhere?

  15. 3-way trade idea:

    – Chabot to Vancouver
    – 9th overall pick from Vancouver to Buffalo
    – Eichel to Ottawa
    – Shane pinto to Buffalo

  16. After the Red Wings Make there pick at 6, dont be surprised if Stevie Y Trades #22 and one or two of his 3-2nd rounders to Vancouver or Ottawa , to draft Wallstedt ..Yzerman will still have 11 picks after #6 , 5 upper tier ones, and will have the maneuverability to go up at any time

  17. Please refrain from using the know-nothing clown who hides behind the name of Taj on twitter as a source of anything other than completely irrelevant tantrums from his horde of man-babies. Thanks.

  18. I would say that nobody knows much about these guys this year with the limited play . 2021 is a blind draft after the second round . as it usually pans out , do you draft the kid out of the ohl he never played a league game and a limited season in the dub . same as the q . how many teams traded for 2022 picks over 2021picks will tell you the uncertainty it is this draft year .

  19. Canucks Dont Know How to Draft and they Dont Know How to Play the Game of Hockey they Cant Even Tie Up a Pair of Skates. So Why would they Know How to Play the Game of Hockey When they Dont Know How to At All.
