I have no idea what exactly this was from matt Martin. The dying seconds of the first in last nights Carolina Hurricanes vs New York Islanders game were chaotic. The Canes were pushing and Staal got hit from behind by Matt Martin as he then decided to use Staal as a chair. What the hell is that about? I’m not sure. This game had plenty of action though with the Islanders getting the short end of the stick more than once. Not only did Sebastian Aho score a goal on himself, in over time where Mayfield for the Islanders clearly got a high stick to the face from Martinhook. Not only did the ref not call it, the play led to the Hurricanes taking advantage and scoring the game winning goal. I talk about this and much more in todays NHL hockey video!

Idk if you’ve been keepin up but Gudas has done this AT LEAST 3 times in the whole series. Not 1 single call. And every he so clearly does get a penalty, some other Panther gets thrown in the box. It’s comical
Refs have to call that high stick in overtime. Even if a players stick gets lifted, they have to be in control of it.

How about the leafs game… O'Reilly laid a dirty check on point in my opinion. Not only did he board him but followed through and made 2nd contact when he could've avoided it. I forgot who was cross checked in the face after the whistle but he should've been tossed and hopefully he pays a hefty fine and has to sit out the rest of the series. I was rooting for the leafs until last night. Too dirty. I also think the refs need to let them duke it out longer too. The fights are half the fun. I forgot to mention the bolts goal that was waved off. It went in before the whistle was blown and cost them the game
