Nosek elbow on Staal – Have your say!

Tomas Nosek appears to catch Eric Staal in the head with an elbow. There was no call on the play. Tough Call will be reviewing the incident. Have your say!

  1. definitely should have been a penalty on Staal as it didn't look like any contact was made with the elbow at all. Nosek should have never attempted to make that play, however.

  2. Just wonder in your going to go back and do all the tough calls from the Bruins side after your done doing ALL the tough calls on the Panthers side?

  3. Looks like a sniper took him out. Seemed perfectly fine for taking such a huge hit and elbow to the jaw wow looked soooo bad 😂

  4. 2 observations-
Nosek never makes dirty hits but everyone can see that he put his elbow out.
Secondly, how fkn dramatic was Staal??? Dude took a ballerina leap and kicked his feet up before the contact even hit him! 🤣 🤣🤣

  5. Different standard in Boston, thats not even 2 min? In Toronto thats 5 and a game and probably 10game suspension!

  6. Until you slown it down it actually hard to tell contact was even made. Panther was moving like he was hit way before contact.

  7. Has anyone commenting on this played a fast paced sport? Nosek was going for shoulder on shoulder, Stall stopped and when he stopped Nosek reacted by repositioning his arm and turning his head away. Was it an elbow? Yes. Was it a HUGE embellishment? Yes. But it was not targeting, dirty or an intent to injure. Anyone claiming it was is clearly a massive Bruin hater or definitely doesn't understand the concept of fast paced sports

  8. It was definitely an elbow & deserved a 5 minute game misconduct! With that being said: I’ve seen much worse than that.

  9. He definitely intended to hit with his elbow but from the camera angle/speed looks like it was a miss. I couldn't see Staals head make any type of movement other than the forward motion of his self propelled swan dive!!
